Jasper Group, which has facilities in Jasper and Orleans IN, is looking for a Help Desk Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with hardware and software troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or upgrading PCs, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming service requests in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot issues related to personal computer hardware, software, and operating systems; printers; email; network/internet access and phone system
  • Document all activity in a timely manner using the internal Help Desk System
  • Reassign and/or escalate service requests in a timely manner to the appropriate resource and level when necessary
  • Assist with internal projects that improve the overall effectiveness of the Help Desk Team
  • Setup and configure PC’s and printers
  • Deploy software using internal deployment tools

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a Help Desk or related IT position
  • Excellent knowledge of computers, peripherals and accessories
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft 365
  • Understands concepts of Microsoft server related functions such as Active Directory and File Share Security
  • Understanding of Cisco Call Manager a plus
  • Experience with CNC Equipment a plus
