MT Health Care Services Account Manager
This position is Montana or Wyoming based and requires travel across Montana & Northern Wyoming to the Crow Agency, Blackfeet, and Fort Belknap area to provide onsite assistance as needed. We partner with health care providers, practitioners, stakeholders, and patients on a variety of quality improvement initiatives to achieve better care, better population health and lower health care costs. We have an opening for a MT Health Care Services Account Manager Mountain-Pacific is seeking a full-time account manager to support work with the Indian Health Services within community settings in Montana to improve the care delivered to Native American populations. Improvement work will be focused primarily on the Crow Agency with a supportive role for work in the Blackfeet and Fort Belknap area. There are 2 primary focuses for this position. One is focused on learning and sharing best practices in healthcare delivery within Indian Health Service hospitals. This position will gather and analyze data from the organizations to discover the root causes for specific patient care trends; train and educate the organization's staff to promote good quality practices and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations; work with the organization leadership and staff to create policies and procedures that ensure good quality care; keep up to date with all federal and state laws and regulations. The second focus for this position will support community leaders, coalitions and support agencies that address substance use disorder, opioid use disorder, stigma, and other behavioral health support. This position will assist in implementation of indigenous culture as prevention tools and support. A bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field and 3 years’ experience in quality improvement & facilitation required. Knowledge of American Indian culture, healthcare disparities, and historical trauma preferred. Project or program management experience desirable.
